Samsung launched it’s much anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 on 1st September 2020. The pre-order has already started in selected markets which include the U.S and Europe.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Price & availability:

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 price is set at $1999. It will be available from September 18 2020.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Key Specifications:

• The Galaxy Z Fold 2 comes with a cover screen of 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display and it uses Gorilla Glass Victus the strongest & latest Gorilla glass. But the rear end is equipped with the last generation Gorilla Glass 6.
• The Main screen is equipped with a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x Infinity O-display with 120Hz refresh rate.
• The screen is covered in Samsung ultra-thin glass (Samsung UTG).
• The Z Fold 2 will have a side fingerprint sensor for unlocking and facial recognition for biometric unlock.
• The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be powered by a 4500mAh battery.
• On the storage and RAM front, the Z Fold 2 comes with a 12GB RAM & 256GB Storage.
• The Smartphone will run the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor and it will be 5G ready.

Camera:

• The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a Triple rear camera system. 12MP Ultra Wide (F2.2), 12MP Wide-angle (Super Speed Dual Pixel AF, OIS, F1.8) & 12MP Telephoto (PDAF, F2.4, OIS).
• 10MP selfie camera on the cover screen with F2.2 and 10MP on the infinity O-display on the inside display.

Hideaway Hinge:

• The Galaxy Z Fold 2 uses a Hideaway Hinge design. This will help the smartphone hold its orientation in case if the users want to take a selfie or do a video call totally hands-free.
• CNET mentioned that Samsung also said that the hinge is tested to 2000 folds the same rate as the original Galaxy Fold.

Water Resistant:

Unfortunately, the smartphone does not have an IP rating certificate.
So be careful near water it’s not water-resistant.

Colors:

The smartphone will be available in 2 colors Mystic bronze and black.
You can customize the side hinge to Metallic red, blue, silver, gold. The customization is available only if you are buying from Samsung directly.
