Redmi 9i was launched earlier today (15th September 2020). Redmi India in an official tweet announced the arrival of Redmi 9i into the 4GB RAM category. It is a Made in India product manufactured at the Redmi factories in Sri city and Sriperambudur.

- Redmi 9i features a 6.53 inch (16.59 cm) HD+ IPS display with a screen-to-body-ratio of 20:9.
- The smartphone comes equipped with MediaTek Helio G25 Octa-core processor with primary clock speed up to 2GHz and secondary clock speed 1.5GHz.
- The Redmi 9i is powered by a 5000 mAh battery.
- Redmi 9i comes with a special P2i nano-coating that makes it splash resistant.
- On the camera front, the 9i features a 13MP Rear camera (f/2.2) with HDR, Portrait, AI Scene Detection, Kaleidoscope, Filters, Pro Mode options.
